Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Sandy became co-owner of Distinctive Designs Bridal in 1997, making her the youngest bridal salon owner in the country.

Sandy’s entrepreneurial experience, coupled with her education, advanced her to become the second runner up on season two of “The Apprentice.” Her most memorable moment on the show was the bridal store task, where she lead her team to make “Apprentice” history by winning the task by the largest margin in the show’s history.

Sandy has shared her knowledge and expertise with hundreds of brides through appearances and interviews in TV, radio, newspaper and magazine publications. She has appeared on Life & Style, VH1’s Fabulous Life: Celebrity Weddings and various local news programs. Sandy has been quoted as a wedding expert in Modern Bride Connection, The Knot’s Wedding Pages, Bridal Sources, Vows, Cosmo Girl and The Washingtonian Magazine.
